My Work Promise:
I am committed to helping my clients reach their full career potential and achieve their financial goals, so they can enjoy the things and relationships that matter most to them.
The Wisdom of Thrift, The Power of Protection.
Helping families and businesses build futures their hardest-working days deserve.
My story begins with a seamstress.
My mother had only a primary school education, but she taught herself to sew, ran a home kitchen, and eventually managed a factory canteen. She shouldered the burden of raising my sister and me while caring for my father, who lived with schizophrenia and could not hold a job.
She never borrowed a cent. In fact, relatives who called her “stingy” were the very ones she lent money to when they were in need. Her reply was simple: “If they bear to ask me, I will never refuse within my ability.”
That old-fashioned thrift sent me to university and gave us a decent life. But I also witnessed what happens when a family lacks a safety net. My mother was our only insurance policy—and while she was fierce, she was also exhausted. If my father had been insured, or if we’d had a financial buffer beyond sheer willpower, those years would have looked very different.
That is the gap I close for my clients.
What I believe:
Financial freedom rests on three pillars: Diligence, Protection, and Investment. You bring the hard work and the savings; I bring the analytical rigour—honed at PwC, DBS, and Citibank—and the CFP® certification to ensure your money is both grown and guarded.
Common-sense insurance isn’t a sales tactic; it’s the difference between a setback and a catastrophe. I help you insure what matters most—your income, your health, and your family’s stability—so you never have to shoulder the burden alone, the way my mother did.
For businesses, the same principle applies.
I partner with companies to design employee benefits and financial literacy programmes that treat people like family. When your team feels secure—when they understand their compensation and have a buffer against life’s curveballs—they show up engaged, loyal, and focused. It’s good for morale, and it’s good for business.
Why I do it:
Today, I am the father of two young boys—one a budding athlete, the other a passionate musician. I am investing now so their talents have a runway, and their future isn’t constrained by circumstance. But I’ve also insured my income and built a safety net, because I refuse to put my family through what my mother endured.
When you sit across from me, you aren’t just getting a financial plan. You are getting the same fierce, no-nonsense dedication my mother gave her family—but with the modern investment strategy and common-sense protection she never had access to.
