Why I joined Builders Financial

For many years, I have always wanted to become a Financial Service Consultant. I was interested in financial planning because I wanted to understand it deeply and help others make better financial decisions for their future.

However, despite having this aspiration, fear often held me back. I doubted myself and was hesitant to step out of my comfort zone, so I did not dare to take on the challenge.

In October 2025, I attended an AIA Networking Night. Interestingly, the topic that evening was not about insurance or investments, but something far more human — understanding fear and how to overcome it.

That session stayed with me. It made me realise that fear does not disappear on its own. It only changes when we choose to act despite it.

From that moment, I decided it was time to move forward — not because fear was gone, but because I no longer wanted it to lead my decisions.

Today, I am a Financial Services Consultant. But more importantly, I see my role as helping people gain clarity in their financial decisions, so they can move forward with confidence.

Many financial decisions are not difficult because of lack of products or information. They are difficult because of uncertainty, hesitation, and fear of making the wrong choice. My aim is to simplify that process — to listen carefully, understand what truly matters, and provide guidance that helps clients make informed and confident decisions.

I believe financial planning should feel grounded, thoughtful, and reassuring — not overwhelming.

At the heart of everything I do is this belief: courage helps us begin, and kindness ensures we walk the journey with care for the people we serve.
